Green Earth Craft Classes

Green Earth Craft offers hands-on art workshops for kids, teens, adults, and community groups. While many projects focus on recycling, we also feature a diverse range of creative activities that blend sustainability with artistic expression, turning everyday materials into unique works of art.
Leslie works with program directors to design workshops tailored to their ideas and needs, ensuring that each program is both meaningful and engaging for participants.
Community Service Projects
Earn 1 Hour of Community Service by Participating in a Creative Art Project.
Cost: $250 for up to 15 participants.
Participants can earn additional community service hours by donating items for certain projects.

Tie Dye Tote
Create a tote bag with a tie-dye effect using Sharpies and fill each bag with non-perishable items for donation.
Extra 30 minutes for donating non-perishable items

Create Kawaii-style labels for canned food, then design a mini Andy Warhol-inspired canvas.

Create plaques to thank local police officers or firefighters.

Paracord Bracelet
Create paracord bracelets for military personnel and write thank-you cards.

Chalk Talk
Create fun-shaped chalk and a chalkboard for donation to a local school.

Pet Blankets
Recycle old fabric and t-shirts by sewing them into a cozy blanket for shelter animals.

Create a wooden flower-shaped plaque and help brighten the walls of low-income senior community centers with these colorful pieces.

Elephant Silhouette
Participants will paint elephant silhouettes alongside adult artists in a fun community event.

Scratch Art
Create a variety of scratch art to be donated to teachers who work in low income communities or to hospitalized children.

Sweet Socks
Create a 'sock cupcake' craft and a mini cupcake canvas.
Extra 30 minutes for donating a brand-new pair of socks

Winter Warmth
Create hat-shaped tags for donated hats to shelters.
Extra 30 minutes for donating a hat

Thanking Our Vets
Decorate a wood plaque with patriotic papers and craft supplies for a local veteran.

Pom-Pom Banner
Create pom-poms to make a banner for a senior community center.

Forever Flowers
You will begin by sponge painting your vase. Each teen will create a unique bouquet using a variety of buttons. These will be donated to a local senior center.

Activity Book
Teens will learn how to create a book filled with fun activities to be given to a hospitalized child.

Cozy Socks
Create a journal to be donated to children in shelters, with a coordinating pair of socks.
Extra 30 minutes for donating a brand-new pair of socks

NICU Hearts
Sew flannel hearts for NICU babies and make thank-you cards for nurses.
Extra 30 minutes for donating items

Breast Cancer Ribbon
Paint a ribbon pink, stencil on a background image, and collage flowers.

Bedazzled
Create bracelets and necklaces with words of encouragement for donation.

Fingers Puppets
All participants will learn how to sew a simple finger puppet and/or hand puppet to be donated to teachers in low income communities. Teachers are always spending their own money to get incentive prizes and this would be wonderful.
Cost is $250 for 15 participants.

Macrame Leaf
Teens will learn how to make a macrame leaf as well as decorative beading. The group can create individual decor to be given to seniors in local senior centers or we can create a group banner to add a bit of cheer at a local senior center.

Bottle Cap Murals
Green Earth Craft’s Bottle Cap Murals school program invites students to create vibrant murals using recycled bottle caps. This hands-on project encourages teamwork, creativity, and sustainability, while teaching students the importance of recycling and reusing materials. It’s a fun, collaborative way to promote environmental awareness through art. Our bottlecap murals can depict anything the school community envisions—whether it’s school spirit, important local landmarks, or creative concepts. Let’s collaborate to bring a unique and colorful mural project to your school!

The Unexpected Collage: A Creative Recycled Art Project
This fun and engaging recycled art project is perfect for a wide range of ages and can be customized to fit any theme—whether it's superhero, STEAM, "PE an Artist," or our unique theme, "The Unexpected Collage."
In this hands-on workshop, each child will create a collage using a variety of materials such as assorted papers, magazines, decorative scissors, paper punches, glue, and their imagination. We’ll explore the concept of "unexpected" and discuss how to visually express it.
At the end of the session, each student will leave with their own one-of-a-kind collage!

This is a painting project that becomes a game. Learn how to create a colorful maze . Every participant will get a ball to go through their maze.

Who Loves Dinos

Create 1 or 2 3D dinosaurs using recycled materials as well as paint, papers and google eyes. I will supply directions to copy mu samples but as always creativity is encouraged.

Using papers and crayons, children and their adult will create a fall scene together.

A fun combination of artwork and a game—children will create a tic-tac-toe board and game pieces featuring a friendly crow.

A colorful, fun banner featuring ice cream cones made with assorted papers, punches, and real popsicle sticks.

These flamingos form a beautiful heart. Using an assortment of papers and markers, children and their adults will create this colorful project together.

Children will create a three-dimensional garden using recycled materials and paint, learning about Yayoi Kusama and her signature polka-dot technique.

A mixed-media project where children will craft a realistic goldfish in a painted fishbowl scene.

A fun lighthouse-building project that incorporates paint, paper, and mixed materials—including a working light!

Using a popsicle canvas and special paint, create an ombre background . Depending on the age group they can also add paint and markers on top as well as paper punches to create a scene. Each participant can create 2 scenes.

This project combines nature and art as participants learn techniques for painting on rocks and a wooden canvas.

Participants will sit together, paint, and enjoy a fun, social evening.

Spirit Animal
Create a 3 dimensional elephant with your empowerment word using a variety of papers. Participants can create another animal but I will have the supplies to make the elephant.
$350 for 15 adults for 1 hour and 30 minutes

Macrame Leaf Decor
Each participant will learn how to create a macrame leaf hanging using the colors of their choice. Beads can be added as an accent.
$350 for 15 participants for 90 minutes

Book Box
Learn how to transform an old book into a unique keepsake box with a variety of decorative supplies.

Vision Board
It has been shown that creating a vision board can help you achieve your goals, and in this class, you'll use images and words to visualize where you'd like to be in five years.

Forever Flowers
Create your own bouquet of paper flowers in a decorative vase. Participants will have a variety of flowers to choose from and are encourage to use their own imagination.

Painted Box
Participants will learn how to create different textures using a variety of paints and papers.

Gelli Printing
Learn how to create your own papers and then apply your favorites to create a set of coasters.
$450 for 15 adults for 2 hours

Painted Beads
Do you ever wish you could find just the right color bead? Now you can because you will be the one to paint it. I will teach how to create a marbleized technique as well.
$375 for 15 participants for 1hour and 30 minutes
Teens and tweens programs are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and connect with peers

Create a memo board using assorted papers and dry-erase markers/tape.

Create a canvas inspired by a playbill or design your own, with guidance and samples.

Fall Friends Sunrise Canvas
Learn how to blend a sunrise background. Then you will paint in the scenery. Last step will be to add the animals with paper or paint.

Gyotaku Fish Prints
Participants will have a variety of fish to choose from. This is a 3 part project. 1 is the background. 2 is the fish print, 3 is the line work. Warning...these are addictive. Each person will pick their own colors as well as their own fish.

Album Cover
Create a personal album cover inspired by various samples.

Pom-Pom Sushi
Create a sushi tray from pom-poms and personalize chopsticks.

Snowy Northern Lights
Learn how to create the effect of a sky filled with Northern lights as well as snow.

Starry Night in Paris
Learn how to create a Van Gogh-inspired background and Eiffel Tower using tricks and techniques.

Rest and Relaxation
Create bath bombs and enjoy relaxing coloring sheets.

Bedazzled
Create bracelets and necklaces with words of encouragement for donation.

Candy Canvas
Learn how to create a sweet canvas by replicating a card box. I will have a few tricks to make this easy. Although you do not need a reason to be sweet, this is a fun way to celebrate Halloween as well as Valentine's Day.

DIY Squishies
Create up to two squishies using paint and special foam.

Seas the Day
Create a wood frame canvas and blend colors to create a seascape, adding seashells for finishing touches.
